This is a take-out counter slash cosy bistro! Imagine a small room of 340 sq.ft shaped in a triangle, finished strictly with recycled materials… this is where our big mandate begins! With great local cuisine, it was necessary to have an authentic decor. The interesting wood wall is actually recycled planks taken from the demolition site. The seating was purchased from the public transportation company… yes… they are refurbished bus benches! The massive steel plates over the counter were discovered in a metal recycling station. An antique door and hand sketches signed Serge Labrie were used as wall decoration. This is proof that imagination can bring together: urban life and sustainable design.
