Montréal, Plateau Mont-Royal
Located at the ground level of a centenarian house, this traditional French cuisine restaurant attracts locals and others who live on and off the Island, many regulars. The integration of motifs, volumes, textures and tone on tones were the artistic direction to create an atmosphere of a classic French residence. The large mirrors and the concealed lighting were used to bring a feeling of openness in the 400 sq.ft dining room. The fabric panels on the ceiling, the wall paper and the lamp shades create warmth and improve the acoustics. The bathroom walls and ceiling are covered in a deep red wall paper, resembling a Parisian boudoir, making it the cherry on the top.
